As the Spander turns...
Feb. 7th, 2005 12:55 pmThe Hubby Files... Well, hubby read his first few fan fiction stories last night. I started him out with two of mine, of course. First the Pretty Little Blush series, figuring that they're in someone else's point of view besides his least favorite characters would be good. He loved them, thought they were funny. Said that he liked that I was subtle about what they were doing, even though it was obvious. *bounce* Tried to get him to read Counting the Ways, but he was too tired. Will try again today. Next up is Small Fry by
mpoetess. Figure easing him into the characters as wee little ones would make 'em too cute to resist. *evil manic laugh* We will get him yet, my preciousses.
Next up, on a suggestion from
amejisuto, I'm looking for groups and people to add to his flist. He won't read all of them so I'm starting small. Still got him to use his LJ first, so I've got time.
*coughsneezesniffle*... In other news, I'm still sick. Going on... uh, five days now I think. Bonus about this whole thing is that I haven't felt hunger. It's kinda strange actually. Matter of fact I've got lunch half eaten sitting next to me because I got side-tracked and forgot I was eating. I missed breakfast entirely. It's such a strange feeling. I don't ever really feel full either, not unless I've been feeling thirsty again. I've described the feeling of thirst I get to my mother. It's like that water-sucking demon from that episode of Angel. No matter how much water I drink, the thirst never went away. Getting better now, but still it's been weird. Needless to say, I've lost 5 pounds in the last week. I should be fit to go back to work by tomorrow or the next day.
Speaking of which, I've really got to finish my lunch...
