Can I rest now?

Woo boy.  Been busy lately.  Last week before christmas and it seems the hellions are only getting more hellish.  Had an incident yesterday.  Actually, it's like the entire bus rebelled, though in my defense I blame the school's counselor for delaying our bus by 30 minutes.

Anyway, got some Christmas shopping done yesterday.  At Wal-Mart of all places.  What time was I there shopping in the toy department for my niece and nephew?  5pm.  Yes that's right, folks.  I was there for the after-work rush.  Thank goodness hubby talked me out of going to the mall after that.  Got my shopping done for my sister and her family though, and it's been shipped off this morning.

I have my first Christmas Dinner to attend tonight with the hubby.  Am looking forward to socializing with humans, but am afraid I won't be able to say much.  Remember how sick I was last weekend?  Well it's caught up with me this week.  I've been slowly losing my voice all week long.  Don't have much of it left today, especially after what happened with the kids yesterday.

Anyway, I got to run.  The hellions are getting out early today, so my lunch break is over in a blink of an eye.  Gotta get me some food so I can last through the rest of the day.  Hope all is going well with y'all.  Sorry haven't een around much, so haven't been keeping up with my flist for the past couple days.  :)  Pray for me when I finally do take the time to catch up.  I probably will have to give up from exhaustion at around skip=300 or so.  *snerk*

ETAII: Got back on and am currently at skip=460 because hubby got in the shower before I could take over the bathroom.

Going to the party soon.  Have to find something decent to wear.  Dont' have a thing.  Have to be there in... an hour and a half I think.

Almost completely have lost my voice.  It's not pretty.  Hubby says I sound like a Grandma or something. 

Meh.  I'm rambling.  I've had cookies.  I want more.

Must go now.  I'm starving.  *goes out in search for more cookies*

ETA: Also? James Marsters is a spaz when he dances. He's like... a nerdy white boy on crack. Only worse. LOL Actually, the scary thing here is he dances just like my hubby. Wow. That's gonna give me nightmares.
