Yeah.  I went to bed late.  Or early, depending on how you look at it.  *pops another piece of chocolate*

New Car on Hold
Remember the car hubby was gonna buy me?  I think I told y'all about it.  Well, the dealer did some body work on it, and wouldn't release the car until we paid for it.  Didn't know he was going to do it, and hubby had not plans to pay the $1800 they wanted for it all.  So, no we're not getting the one.  Hubby's pulling out the money he's already put into it (dealer is cutting him a check).  The cool thing is that he's taking me car shopping.  He found another dealer that's willing to work with him and give him a good deal.  I'll have it by Christmas, I should hope.  I'll post pics when I finally get it.

Clue on Halloween 2005
Hubby found a cool thing he wants to take us to next year.  There's a hotel in the area called Anniversary Inn.  They're one of those places that's got the themed rooms.  He's wanted to take me there forever and a day.  Anyway, we found out they have this special going on during Halloween.  They lock you in the hotel for two days.  Then, you play Clue.  30 days prior to the event, you get your part.  Everyone has a part, clues they've got to give out or plant.  Someone is murdered, everyone else needs to find out who done it.  They usually play the game twice in those two days.  Sounds like a lot of fun.  Hubby's planning on booking us in for next year.  *bounce*

English trying for American?
I think I've mentioned this guy hubby works with before.  He's an English guy, been here for about 4 years.  He's from North London.  Has a strong Cockney accent.  He's just a riot to listen to.  Talks about a mile a minute and most people don't understand his slang.  Fortunately, since I've been in the Buffy fandom I've been able to pick up more than most.  Anyway, he was joking around the other day making fun of American accents.  It's his new thing, revenge on the ones who usually tease him.  He's saying things like, "Elll-eeee--vay-tore."  So reminded me of that scene where Spike was trying to convince Riley he didn't know him, "Noo, Siirrr.  I'm just a friend of Xanderrrr's here."  ::giggles::

So, that's all for now.  I'm working on another Spike wallpaper.  I said that before I know, but it got put on hold until my [livejournal.com profile] fall_for_sx project was finished.  It is now, so I'll have it up soon.
