Woobie acquired: Check.
Jun. 11th, 2004 10:57 amThe meeting with the mechanic went okay. We got some good base plans for the refurbishing of the buses we buy. Next step is buying them (my partner and I have enough for that on hand). After that we need to get financing or investors for the rest of it. We think we have someone for the entire amount of the startup costs, but you never know. They can be wishy washy about these sorts of projects (though I can't imagine why). Anyway, we'll have the first of the fleet within the next month. Refurbishments and startup will take place over the next twelve months.
I'll just have to savour my time until then. It looks like I'll be putting my life on hold, for the day shift at least, during next year's fire season. In this state, that means we'll likely be on call between June and September or October.
No more word yet on any of our other projects, up to and including hubby's big investment project. Though he is progressing nicely on his pilot's training courses.
I got a wallpaper done (almost) and an LJ icon to match (purely by coincidence since I got a request for one just yesterday). It's gonna be early Illyria themed, and I'll have it out later today when I finish the text on the wallpaper.
