WooHoo - I'm a year older!

Yup. It's my birthday. I got my birthday dinner last night: shrimp cocktail, steak, sautéed mushrooms, and veggies. This morning hubby woke me up with the traditional "wake up present" (it was a switchblade with a picture of a wolf on the handle). Tonight, it's dinner out at a restaurant (I picked Red Robin because I haven't been there in forever - and have you ever tasted their mud pie???). I think maybe a movie too, but I'm not sure yet. Exciting, huh?

Everyone's trying so hard to make it a happy day for me, but I honestly just don't... I dunno. I just don't want to be older I guess. The closer I get to 30 the more I feel like a fool for how I've lived my life in the past. I don't feel like I've done enough. I'm not where I want to be considering how long I've been out of school. Does that make any sense? Maybe tomorrow I'll feel different.

Hubby gave me my presents. I had actually gotten some early, like a painting a friend of mine did, and two new knives to add to my collection. He also gave me Lorne! It's an autographed pic of Lorne - and it's ALL MINE! Hubby loves me. I'll scan the pics of the autograph and painting later so ya'll can see.
