Damn blue screen of death... *grumbles*

Last system failure caused a few problems:

Firefox lost a few of its features, including the ability to add a bookmark and the search engine extension that came with the last update.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice with no difference.

Internet Explorer just fails to load any pages.  It seems to work fine, but acts as if I'm not connected to the internet.  I've had similar problems before and it came down to issues with addons and extensions.  I disabled almost all of them but I still have the problem.

I don't know what else to do.  I've ran Spybot for errors, inconsistencies, and adware issues.  No problems come up.

*sulks*  I want my new computer, and I want it now.  *grumblegrumble*

Have you checked your connection is okay? Are instant messangers still working?Have you got Norton systemworks or something else that can check your systems for problems?

I know i had problems with IE, AOL and firefox but the pages weren't coming up blank they were defaulting to something else but i also ran spybot and it picked up nothing. When i ran Ewido it found a couple of malaware virus's which were invading my computer.

Broken computers make me want to smash things. Which doesn't make the computer work any better!

Looks like the washer was a fluke. I washed some pillows, and they managed to float, so the stupid thing overflowed. Still can't explain the camera though...

Thanks for the suggestions. I ran the Ewido scan and found a bunch of stuff I didn't know was there. :)

Still didn't fix my browser problems though. I think my last computer crash might have lost some important files. I'll figure something out.
