Multi-Fandom

darkhavens, how did you handle it? I feel so weird. I mean, I love them all to bits. I just never thought I would ever stray from my boys. Only I did, and now I got a whole lot of boys. *grins*

I found a nifty site to visit whem you're bored. I Am Bored. ::giggles:: Funny videos, stupid games, sabotage emails, and ridiculous articles. Best site EVER! Spent half the day there yesterday.
School Bus Driver From Hell
My regular afternoon driver is gone today through Thursday. Hubby comes home yesterday to warn me about her. Yes, warn me. He said every monitor who has ever driven with this women comes back saying NO MORE. Basically, when a monitor is on a route with a substitute driver, they can function as navigator. Only problem with this lady is that she's argumentative. She doesn't listen. When she finally gives in and just does what she wants anyway, everyone else is to blame for her getting lost.
They didn't want her on my route because I attack back when provoked. Argumentative people do it to me every time. However, the other dispatcher forgot my driver was going to be gone and had nobody left but this woman. Oops.
Basically, I'll be hiding in the back of the bus with my rowdy kids. It'll work for the elementary route because the special needs student on my bus requires constant supervision... technically. The junior high kids however can stand to be yelled at from where I'm sitting and they're happy. However I'm running with the excuse that yesterday they were flashing people out the back window and wouldn't stop... so I've got to watch them closer, right? *nods* Right.

More news on how the day went when I get home. I'm off to work.

Honestly. Every time I wrote some McShep I had to write more Spander, like I was paying penance for being unfaithful.
I have a slightly better handle on it now, but I'm still in the 'Ooh!Shiny!' stage of McShep love, so they get a larger percentage of my attention, and occasionally I have another 'OMG!so!guilty!' moment or two. But they pass. ;)

Date: 2005-12-07 06:10 am (UTC)I'm all for multi-fandom. What I don't understand is people who completely abandon old fandoms. Just isn't in me. I might participate a good deal less, but all my old fandoms stay with me. Star Wars, Star Trek... and the list goes on.
You monitor kids on buses? I'd no idea there even was such a thing. Certainly wasn't when I took the bus to or from school as a kid
