A summary of my attempt to write:

- Open up my story in Word.

- Stare at screen.

- Decide I can't go another minute without checking my email.

- Feel guilty about not writing and move mouse in the direction of my story.

- Get waylaid by an enticing story I must read now or have an evil attack of some kind.  *looks around shiftily*  It's for the good of mankind.  *nods*

- Finish story and ignore my brains demands to write more.  Make way to check email again.  I'm sure I must have gotten something really important in the last ten minutes that cannot go without looking at.

- Glare at my story and steadfastly ignore it.

- Get up to grab pain medication to relieve headache gotten from glaring so long story.

- Give up and fix lunch.

Lather.  Rinse. Repeat.

*hangs head in shame*

Ah, yes. And "look at recipes for three hours." But at least I learned to cook one of them.
