saifai | Spielberg an arrogant American?

Say it isn't so. I just had to laugh at this quote I picked up from IMDb. They were discussing that a new film that Steven Spielberg is filming in Budapest is really upsetting some of the Hungarians. Their every day live is being threatened by some of his strong arm tactics he uses, such as having cars that are in his way towed with "barely any notice."

The part that I laughed at is this quote, "The best part is (Spielberg's people) keep saying, 'This is the biggest thing ever to happen to Budapest,' which is true if you discount the whole Roman and Ottoman Empires, World Wars I and II, the fall of communism and the European Union's accession."

*snerk* Ain't life grand?

I had other thoughts too, but I won't discuss them here. More political ranting about the rumors that Russia and China are joining forces to declare war on us. *shrug* Who know if its true or not. Much rambling aside, I guess I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Incidentally, I think they will be the ones surprised to find I'm not the only one with these views. Only some of the folks who share these views are dangerously paranoid people who happen to serve our government (and no, I'm not talking about Bush). Whatever happens, it won't be pretty.

Enough of that. Two papers are due today, and I'm trying not to think about it. One of them is a BS paper. I BS very well when I need to do it. Although, I like to think of it more as "creative waffling." *gr* I'll let you know how it turns out.
