Went to my first day of training.  Not too bad, so far.  Got a stack of maybe 15 books I've got to read.  Company driver's manual, district bus manual, district parents manual, special needs attendant manual, special needs monitor training workbook... the list goes on.  It'll all be worth it though.

Am officially about 15,000 words behind on my Nano.  Not sure if I'll finish it in the alotted time, but I'll keep plugging away at it regularly.

My neighbor thought my husband was my brother.  *snerk*  That's not the first time that's happened either.  Height issues aside, he's got the same dark brown hair and eyes that I do... you know, only a bit lighter than mine.

You have a lot to read, I hope you'll end soon. And is very cool you NaNo project is coming in good timing =).

It has to be weird to be confused as a relative of the hubby... but it also says how much you two have "merged" so to speak, because physical condition is not the only thing you look at when you think that a person is closely related to another one.

Sorry i've not spoken sooner, but RL and Facing Fear kept me away from my Flist :o( Just spent all evening trying to catch up. Pretty sure that iv'e still missed some fics, but its time to give up :o)

Job is going great. I officially start Monday as a paid employee. The training was wonderful, and put to rest a lot of my concerns on how I was going to handle the kids. And the kids are just great. Was riding along on a bus with 9 pre-school age children today, and they're just precious. :)

Know the feeling about RL issues. It's been unusually busy for me this past month. With my novel, a whole bunch of corporate logos to do, a bunch of other misc graphics, and training for this job? Just haven't had a lot of time to read stuff. I've got a folder with an enormous amout of fics waiting to be read. I'm sure I'll find time, but it may be awhile yet.
