Started my summer route today. Not much to tell yet except for one thing: I get an air-conditioned bus.
I know, some of you are looking with "big whoop" expression. Thing is our buses aren't allowed to use air conditioning if we have it. Why? It takes too much gas to use. Normally the buses aren't even equipped with it at all. At the moment we only have three buses equipped with air conditioning, and only use it because of students that require it due to health concerns.
Can you imagine hot weather being trapped on a bus with no cool air to speak of save for what comes in through the 24 windows along the sides (which if you're on a freeway isn't all that bad). It's hot, and it's clausterphobic, and it makes you miserable.
*bounce* I got switched to a bus with air conditioning. Bonus? We actually get to use it. *high fives all around*
