Fitness and OTH
Had my first appointment with my new trainer today. She thinks I'm not eating enough. That's a first. So, my workouts are fine for now. I go in again next week, so I'll know more then. I have to keep a food log for the next week, and monitor my heart rate. *sigh*
In other news, I've realized that the guy that plays Luke on OTH reminds me of my cousin. Part of the reason he looks so familiar to me. Only difference between the two is that I think Todd is probably a bit cuter. I mean, little boy cute. He's just got one of those faces that makes you want to pinch his cheeks.
My mom's divorce battles on. The newest development is dad is now threatening to sue for alimony (not legal in this state, but apparently the fact that it's a community property state bypasses that little law). He wants everything and is determined to get it. Mom is holding firm for now, and is doing a lot of research to back up her arguments against dad's lastest offer. So far so good, but I suppose that depends on your perspective.
I'm feeling better about it lately. I've been struggling with my Mom's daily rants about "What your father has done now...". I'd been having nightmares about my Dad. Just last week though I had another dream about Dad, but this time I told him how I feel about everything. I haven't actually talked to Dad about everything in real life, but for some reason that dream discussion with him served to help me clear my mind about it all. For now, I've decided that I just don't want to have anything to do with him. Some day I'll forgive him for becoming the awful person that he is, but not today or tomorrow. It will take some time. I just honestly don't think he realizes that what he's doing is wrong. He's lied to so many people, his lawyer and accountants included.
Well, enough of that. I've got a site to work on. Speaking of which, the new site I'm working on for hubby is doing well so far. We haven't yet released it to the public, and it's only open to local businesses for now. But just yesterday someone my hubby works with was telling him about her daughter in Arizona who found this cool site that she thinks is gonna be great. I guess she wants to move up here and thinks our site will help her. Come to find out she was talking about our site. Kinda makes me smile to hear things like that.
