6 Weird Things About Me

First: Each player of this game starts with 6 weird things aboutyou. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rule clearly. 1) I am a habitual counter.  That fic I once wrote about counting (Counting the Ways)?  Yeah.  That's so totally me.  Example?  There are 12 stairs down to my room, but if I'm going downstairs I've got to count 13 or I'll trip on the last stair.


2) I bit my mother on her ass when I was two.  I don't know why.  Apparently that was the best way to get her attention.  I left a little Saifai-mouth sized bruise her her left cheek.

3) I'm so totally not a people person.  I'm a lurker by nature.  I'm very quiet.  People often mistake me for stuck up because when given the chance to either wave back to someone or keep walking and hide in a corner?  Guess which one I'll choose.  Oddly enough, these rules don't seem to apply if I am dared to do something FOR someone.

4) Ghosts freak me out.  My mother actually banned me from watching Scoobie Doo as a child because the shows with ghosts in them gave me nightmares.  Yet, I wanted to be a parapsychologist when I was little (doctor who studies the paranormal).  I'm al so a part of a ghost hunting group.  Go figure...

5) I was stalked by a drug runner once.  This guy was a serial scammer.  He would use young women as a cover for his activities, then take a runner when the police would get too close to finding him out (leaving the blame on the women).  How'd I get out of it?  I got a weird feeling about the guy, so I had a friend of mine to research on him.  Turns out the guy knew him, and had worked with him as one of his contacts (and I had no idea this friend of mine was into all that).  Didn't talk to either one of those guys again after that.

6) My totem is a fox.  Every time something bad is going to happen to me, a red fox will show itself to me.  If someone I know, a close friend or family member, sees one?  It means they'll betray me.  Usually the foxes that are seen look directly at you.  The longer they keep eye contact with you, the more serious the situation for me.

Saifai - It's the username of the website that I bought several years back.  I wanted to get the name out there, so I would register with that name.  It sort of stuck though, and even now the site is gone I still use it.  It suits my personality and interests quite well.

FoxShadow - It's an old username I used, and still use every now and again (and yes, I have a backup journal with that username somewhere...  foxzshadow).  It's reflective of my totem (see #6).
